 The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth;
and in Jesus Christ His only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
the third day He rose from the dead;
He ascended into heaven;
and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost,
the holy Catholic Church,
the communion of saints;
the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body;
and life everlasting.
Amen.

Our Motto

Managing God’s Resources Responsibly and Respectfully

Message from the President/CEO

I am delighted to be the founder of an organization to keep the fight against poverty in the spotlight of causes to support. The purpose of this foundation is to temporarily help women, children, and families to have hope for a better and brighter future. God loves people we often find undesirable and despicable. Christ admonished us to serve those who are unable to help themselves.

They need to know that someone cares or acknowledges their down-and-out situations and circumstances. Whether you feed the hungry, clothe the naked, help the homeless find shelter, the Lord’s words in the Bible reads, “just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me” (Matthew 25:40 (NRSV).

This foundation is my call to action as a Christian. When I took up the mantle in 2012 with my initial official trial sermon, I had no idea in which direction I would be led to minister, but this is the way God has currently chosen for me to serve this community. All Christians have a call to serve the less fortunate in our world.

I am excited to serve the community with this newly-formed organization and will do my best to handle God’s resources responsibly and respectfully and to represent the kingdom of Christ.

Humbly Submitted, in Christ,
Reverend Adjinoria H. Tomlin
Founder and President/CEO
